PR Newswire/Les Echos/ Paris, 20 February 2008, 5:35pm Affine announces the sale of its Affine building construction and design subsidiary to AtriA Capital Partenaires Affine has sold its majority stake in Affine building construction and design ( Abcd) to AtriA Capital Partenaires, a French private equity firm. This sale was conducted with Abcd's senior executives who, with other Abcd's managers, will retain their current stake in the company. Over the past two years, Abcd has become one of France's leading providers of turnkey buildings for use in logistics, manufacturing, commerce, and services, in France, Spain, and Germany. AtriA Capital Partenaires helps entrepreneurs start-up and expand their new businesses, and works with managers to create value over the medium-term. The firm will support Abcd in its organic growth strategy - Abcd's order book already totalled €145 million by the end of 2007 - and acquisition plans. Abcd will now be named Advanced building construction and design. This transaction will generate a sizable gain for Affine relative to its initial investment, and enable it to better focus on its core businesses as a property development company.
