The interim power site will be located in the Myingyan district, set in the Mandalay Division of central Myanmar, and will use natural gas from the Sino-Burma pipeline, ensuring a reliable power supply while keeping running costs down. The Ministry of Electric Power, Myanmar sought a provider who could design, deploy and commission a large power site quickly and safely, ensuring continuous power during the summer months.
