This month, Alstom completed two important milestones for Chaglla Project, in Peru. Beyond the end of the assembly process of the first generator unit, and the realization of the Run Out, which does the aligning of the components to generate power energy, it was delivered and initiated the installation work of two transformers lifts that will make the energy distribution of the generators unit to the final costumers. The next steps are the assembly process of the second generator unit and the installations of the plant's auxiliary and command equipments.

This plant is considered the second major of the country and will generate 456 MW of power energy and has it commissioning due to the last trimester of 2015. Alstom's complete scope involves the supply of two Turbines Generator, all the electromechanical equipments, control and command systems, auxiliary systems, two transformers lifts and substations equipments, including the hydromechanical and lifting equipments, as well as the ones for the plant mini hybrid power (6MW).
