This in-house collaborative innovation programme challenges the Group's 22,000 Innovation Makers , and aims to promote internal research and innovation by way of a competition open to all employees, whatever their profession, industry or country of operation. Candidates submit to a jury a proposal for a useful go-to-market innovation, in the form of a concept or prototype.

Since its creation in 2013, THE i PROJECT has already rewarded 11 innovative collaborative projects conceived by transnational teams. From green energy management to connected clothing, not to mention augmented reality, the first two seasons of this programme led Altran to explore a new approach to management. THE i PROJECT encourages personal initiative, promotes teamwork, and offers employees the opportunity to imagine and develop a concept that inspires them. 

"Following from the success of the first two seasons, with over 700 candidates, 170 submissions and a total of more than €1 million in financing awarded to the laureates to develop their projects, THE i PROJECT has established itself as an innovation driver within the Altran group. It is a perfect illustration of the Group's desire to provide its clients with high value-added solutions in every field where innovation counts", explains Pascal Brier, Executive Vice-President in charge of Strategy, Innovation and Group Solutions.

Like in the previous two seasons, the most innovative projects will each receive €100,000 in financial support to complement and enhance their pioneering potential, ultimately transforming them into economic realities to best meet the needs of Group clients.
