Ambu A/S : has acquired ETView Medical Ltd.

- We now offer airway tubes with built-in camera.

We are pleased to announce that as of September 28th 2016, Ambu A/S has completed the acquisition of ETView Medical Ltd.

ETView is the inventor of VivaSight, a single-use airway tube with integrated camera. The camera allows for contiunous monitoring during procedures, and the unique airway tubes are available in two versions:

• VivaSight-DL (double-lumen tube)
• VivaSight-SL (single-lumen tube)

Improves patient care
Ambu's President and CEO, Lars Marcher, says: 'ETView has done a fantastic job in developing a unique product line that improves patient care and helps doctors and nurses reduce complexity and save time during surgery through continuous monitoring of the patients' airway.'

Following the acquisition, Ambu's portfolio of single-use visualisation products is even stronger and more relevant to doctors and patients.

A seamless transition for customers
Ambu A/S is committed to maintaining clinical excellence and strong customer relationships at all times - also throughout the integration of ETView and Ambu. A dedicated team from across the organisation will ensure that the transition period is seamless.

For current customers, there will be no immediate change to the way business is transacted. Local Ambu sales organisation will reach out to all customers as soon as possible and inform as the integration process evolves.
