Amer Sports strengthens its digital connectivity services and capabilities through acquisition of Sports Tracker

Amer Sports strengthens its digital engagement capabilities through the acquisition of Sports Tracker, a digital sports application and online service. Sports Tracker will be an integral part of Amer Sports Digital Ecosystem which consists of connected devices, smart sensors, connected Preva network, services such as Movescount, and brand websites and e-commerce. The acquisition will allow Amer Sports to strengthen its digital platform with the primary objective to further drive connected devices sales and e-commerce.

Sports Tracker has a strong technology platform and capability, and a recognized digital service which is used globally.

The agreement is subject to the customary closing conditions. The closing of the acquisition is expected by the end of June 2015. The acquisition has no material impact on Amer Sports 2015 business results.
