By division, Health & Personal Protection recorded a slight decrease of 0.5% to €374.8 million in the first nine months, as a result of a decrease of 4.8% in insurance premiums, whereas brokerage commissions and fees, which are the core activity, recorded an increase of 2.1% thanks notably to good performances by group and expatriate insurance.

Property & Casualty recorded an increase of 3.1%. The 2.9% decrease in commissions and fees was due largely to negative forex impacts of around €4.3 million and to a decrease in the contribution made by the direct distribution network as a result of its streamlining. At constant exchange rates, commissions and fees would have inched higher in the first nine months. Insurance premiums recorded an increase of 15.4% to €80 million.

Note that Mobility - Assistance recorded growth of 9% on a reported basis and 14.7% at constant exchange rates in the first nine months of 2013.
