Arab National Bank (ANB) won the prestigious International Business Continuity award for 2015. This award is for organizations which have, in their home country or globally, created a business continuity or resilience capability of outstanding quality. Nominations were received from banks and other institutions across the world.

Nine judges, from organizations like Rolls-Royce, General Motors, General Electric, British Petroleum, Deutsche Bank & HSBC considered the nominations and, after deliberations, the judges decided that Arab National Bank was the most deserving for the award

The winners of the most celebrated event in the industry, which was organized by CIR Magazine in association with the City of London, were announced at an impressive ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London. Leading figures in the industry were in attendance. Abdulrahman Alonaizan, Head of the Business Continuity Division, received the award on behalf of ANB. He said that "the award demonstrates the high importance ANB places on ensuring the continuity of providing services to its customers under any and all circumstances", adding "this recognition has been achieved as a result of the valuable efforts from all sectors of the bank, and through establishing and maintaining business continuity best practices".

Obaid Alrasheed, Deputy CEO and Head of Private & Retail Banking, said that he was proud of this achievement, and stated that "the Bank gives high priority to the continuous enhancement of its Business Continuity Center by ensuring it is equipped with all required technologies, along with adequate testing being done on a regular basis to increase confidence that the Bank's major services will continue to remain available during emergencies".

The bank has won several awards and certificates in the previous years in the same field, such as the British Standard Certification (BS 25999), the International Standard Organization Certification (ISO 22301), and the Business Continuity Manager of the Year Award from London as well as Singapore.
