Arriva plc : Active Risk and ARM Customers shortlisted for Risk Management Awards

August 15, 2012, Maidenhead, UK - Active Risk, the first Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) provider to drive business performance by enabling organizations to manage risk more effectively, is pleased to announce that its Active Risk Manager (ARM) solution has been shortlisted in the Risk Management Software of the Year category of the CIR Risk Management Awards 2012. Active Risk customers have also been recognized in further categories including Risk Manager of the Year.

The list of Active Risk customers shortlisted in the Risk Management Awards 2012 includes:

• Crossrail - Risk Management Team of the Year and the Major Capital Projects Award
• Network Rail - Risk Management Team of the Year
• Skanska - Transformation Award

Jeremy Harrison of Network Rail and Kevin Morecroft of Skanska are finalists in the Risk Manager of the Year category.

The annual Risk Management Awards, now in their third year, recognize excellence and innovation in all facets of risk management. In 2010, the inaugural year for the awards, Active Risk won Risk Application of the Year after being nominated by customer Rio Tinto. In 2011 Active Risk customers Amlin, EADS and Eurocopter took honors.
