UTair Partners with International Project "Remember Everyone by Name"

UTair Aviation has partnered with the "Remember Everyone by Name" international project organized by Surgut Music and Drama Theatre. The project, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, will include performances of "Names on a roll call" play in 13 cities, including Moscow, Tula, Brest, Berlin, Dresden, Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Belgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Volgograd, Volgodonsk and Voronezh. The first to see the musical and poetic performance were the passengers traveling from Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow where selected scenes from the play were performed on June 24 at the arrivals hall of the Terminal A.

"We are pleased to support such a large-scale project recalling once again the immortal acts of courage of our fellow citizens, veterans, heroes of the war and home front workers," said UTair - Passenger Airlines President Oleg Semenov. "We salute all those who sacrificed their lives fighting for our right to live peacefully and in freedom." The President also mentioned that UTair has a long history of actively supporting creative groups and considers participating in important social initiatives a priority of its social responsibility. UTair Aviation was the official carrier of the VASARA International Theater Festival and the Roll, Square! rock festival. UTair aircraft transported participants of the Russian Mini-Weekend-Festival held in Berlin, Kinoshock Film Festival in Anapa and the Paramusical Festival in Moscow.

The repertoire of the Theater includes works of Boccaccio, Shakespeare, Maeterlinck, Dostoyevsky, Pushkin, Goldoni, Remarque and other authors. More than half a million spectators have enjoyed the repertoire of the Surgut Theater. The Theatre's plays have been performed at 55 theater festivals and competitions in Russia and abroad.

The Surgut Theatre has won more than fifty awards, including recognition as a National Treasure of Russia. Vladimir Matiychenko, a Merited Worker of Arts of the Khanty-Mansiysk region is the artistic director of the Theatre. Tamara Lychkataya, a Merited Worker of Arts of the Russian Federation, is the stage director and the Theatre manager.
