UTair Aviation has released an update for its Android mobile application. The updated app allows passengers using smartphones operating on the Android mobile platform to access an extended range of services offered by UTair, including a tool that enables ticket booking and purchase and card payment directly through mobile devices.

In addition to booking and e-ticketing, the updated application has new and improved features:
- access to a log of previous orders with set parameters, including booking class, passenger data, list of additional services, and payment status;
- self check-in for flights with options for seat selection and forwarding a boarding pass to a selected e-mail address for printing;
- access to flight information by entering the flight number or city of departure, including route, opening and closing times for check-in at desks and self-service kiosks at airports and online, plus actual flight departure and arrival times;
- contact information for UTair offices located in cities of the UTair network as well as numbers for the UTair call center and STATUS frequent flyer program department.

Additional services available through the updated app include options for acquiring air travel insurance and purchasing tickets for Aeroexpress trains connecting airports of the Moscow Aviation Hub with the city.
The launch of the updated version of the UTair iOS mobile app is a result of UTair's strategy to continuously develop and improve its presence through mobile and online technologies. This is another step in direction of improving the efficiency of existing sales channels by implementing modern technologies and using alternative methods of service sales. "Extending the range of features available on the UTair app reflects our commitment to meeting the expectations of our passengers," said UTair-Passenger Airlines Vice President Vitaly Pozdnyakov. "We hope that our clients will recognize the benefits of the updated app. Now traveling with UTair has become even more comfortable and accessible."
