Aviation Latécoère : Latécoère wins contract with Boeing for the 777X

Boeing has selected Latécoère to provide a new Flight Deck Switch Panel and Digital to Analog converter, allowing the flight crew to video monitor the cabin and/or cargo from the cockpit on their avionics display from multiple video cameras located in the airplane. This system will be installed on Emirates' existing 777 fleet.

“This is a great first collaboration with Boeing Global Services and builds on our long-running relationship with Boeing,” said Denis Bretagnolle, Executive Vice President of Latécoère (Interconnection Systems branch).

Latécoère started working with Boeing in 2004 when it was awarded to design and supply the passenger doors for the 787 Dreamliner.

Latécoère also supplies a range of HD landscape cameras, for 777 and 747-8, as well as surveillance systems for 737 MAX and recently 777X.
