Effective January, 1st, 2018, Mr. Selcuk Cura will be appointed AVTOVAZ Executive Vice-President for Engineering. He will replace Harald Gruebel who is intended to leave the Company upon the term of his contract. This decision is confirmed by AVTOVAZ Board of Directors.

Cura will lead the product and process engineering Division of AVTOVAZ. He was born in 1964 in Turkey and graduated from the Technical University of Istanbul as mechanical engineer in 1987. Mr. Cura's professional career has been developed during 30 years in the Engineering branches of Alliance Renault-Nissan. In the recent years he held positions of Vice-President Engineering for the Light Commercial Vehicles Division of Renault , Vice-President Chassis Engineering in Renault France and then in Nissan Japan, Project Director for Renault Megane II Sedan, Dacia Lodgy and Dacia Dokker. October, 2017, Mr. Cura was appointed as a Senior Advisor for Engineering to the President of AVTOVAZ.
