B PORTUGUES : Banco Comercial Português informs about the conclusion of the sale of Banca Millennium (Romania) to OTP Bank

Following the 30 July announcement, Banco Comercial Português, S.A. ("BCP") informs that it has completed, on this date, the sale of Banca Millennium (Romania) ("BMR") to OTP Bank.
In accordance with the general conditions announced, BCP received from OTP Bank, on this date, €39 million as consideration for the sale. OTP Bank also ensured full reimbursement to BCP of the intragroup funding provided by the latter to BMR, amounting to approximately €150 million. The impact of the transaction on BCP's consolidated ratio is estimated to be negligible.
The sale of BMR brings forward yet another important measure on which BCP had committed with European competition authorities (DG Comp) pursuant to its restructuring plan.
