The new domestic device is a new generation universal base for chromatographic complexes, allowing to assess the quality of atmospheric air, air of the working area and industrial emissions from stationary sources by 20 indicators. Based on our goals and objectives, the configuration of our chromatograph allows us to analyze limiting and unsaturated hydrocarbons, alcohols, formaldehyde, - the head of the laboratory Tatyana Khomenushko says.

Compared with other methods of research, gas chromatography has several advantages. Using the chromatograph 'Crystal 5000' you can determine the qualitative and quantitative composition of air. In addition, when working on a chromatograph, operator errors are excluded, because the process is fully automated.

Also an important advantage of the new gas chromatograph is its speed and reliability. Studies of a single sample take about 30 minutes, while studies, for example, photometric methods, can take up to 2 days.
