Belgacom is the leading telecommunications operator in Belgium. Net sales break down by activity as follows:
- telecommunication services to individuals (35.8%): fixed telephony (2.9 million installed lines at the end of 2012), mobile telephony (3.6 million clients), Internet access services (1.5 million ADSL subscribers), interactive television broadcasting (1,386,000 subscribers), etc.;
- telecommunication services to enterprises (35.5%): fixed telephony (1.8million lines at the end of 2012), mobile telephony (1.5 million clients), Internet access services (0.4 million ADSL subscribers) and data transmission. The group also sells wholesale communication minutes to other operators located in Belgium;
- carrier services (28.7%): connectivity and capacity services for telecom operators and international service providers.
