An important part in Proximus's strategy to restore growth by the end of 2016 consists of strengthening its presence in the SME segment. That is why Proximus is putting every effort into the Proximus ICT Expert network, the reinforcement of its own local IT integrator Belgacom Bridging ICT and the recently acquired cloud partner ClearMedia.

Proximus ICT Experts

An important lever to achieve this growth ambition is offering integrated ICT solutions for the SME market via the regionally developed and specialized Proximus ICT Expert network. This network consists of 28 SME IT Integrators, spread across Belgium.

Proximus SpearIT

To be even closer to SME customers as regards IT, the ties with Belgacom Bridging ICT are being enhanced. To give impetus to this new direction and in line with the launch of the new brand Proximus, Belgacom Bridging ICT will be renamed Proximus SpearIT

Proximus SpearIT underlines the unique positioning of the Proximus subsidiary as a spearhead to bring innovative IT total solutions to the SME market with the necessary speed and flexibility. Proximus SpearIT will continue to focus on delivering a unique customer experience and service by means of "IT-as-a-Service" solutions.

Proximus SpearIT is growing quickly and is therefore moving to larger offices in Ferdinand Allenstraat 38 in Diest.

ClearMedia

More and more SMEs are opting for IT solutions which allow them to pay for only what they use, instead of having to invest in hardware and software. These "Cloud" services & hosted applications, such as SaaS, have a strong impact on ICT in the SME market.  Partly thanks to the recent acquisition of ClearMedia, Proximus is able to bring its Cloud offering to market in an even more SME-friendly way. ClearMedia will continue to provide its services via its extensive network of partners, entirely based on Proximus products and services.
