BioGaia : Rights issue in IBT fully subscribed – BioGaia’s underwriting guarantee will not be utilized

27th April the market was informed that BioGaia guaranteed the issue in the former subsidiary IBT up to an amount of SEK 38 million.

Today it was announced that the rights issue in IBT was fully subscribed. Hence, the underwriting guarantee will not be utilized.

Biogaia AB is a Sweden-based healthcare company that is engaged in the development and sell of probiotic products. The Company develops, markets and sells probiotic products with documented health benefits. The products are primarily based on different strains of the lactic acid bacterium Limosilactobacillus reuteri. The Companyâs activities are divided into three segments: The Paediatrics segment drops, gut health tablets, oral rehydration solution (ORS) and cultures to be used as ingredients in licensee products; The Adult Health segment (gut health tablets, oral health lozenges and cultures as an ingredient in a licenseeâs dairy products) and the Other (royalties in respect of development projects, revenue from packaging solutions in the subsidiary CapAble, etc.). The Company operates worldwide.
