ASX ANNOUNCEMENT 25 OCTOBER 2016DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT AND RESIGNATION
Blina Minerals NL (Blina) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Jay Stephenson as Non-Executive Director of the Company effective immediately. Mr Stephenson also remains in the position of Company Secretary.
Mr Stephenson has been involved in business development for over 25 years, including approximately 21 years as Director, Chief Executive Officer, and Company Secretary of various listed and unlisted entities in resources, manufacturing, wine, hotels and property. He has been involved in business acquisitions, mergers, initial public offerings, capital raisings, and business restructuring, as well as managing all areas of finance for companies.
Mr Stephenson is currently Non-Executive Chairman of Yonder and Beyond Group Limited and Non-Executive Director of Doray Minerals NL, Drake Resources Limited, Hillcrest Litigation Services Limited, Nickelore Limited, and Strategic Minerals Corporation NL, and is company secretary of a number of ASX listed companies.
Blina also advises that Mr Justin Virgin has resigned as a director of the company. Mr Virgin has served as a director of the company since September 2013 and has played an integral role in the Company's development.
Additional to his role as a Director, Mr Virgin was tasked with managing the Blina diamond mine and camp site decommissioning and clean up, earth works on TSF, rehabilitation and monitoring. Mr Virgin took an active and hand on approach with dealings with all stakeholders, including the Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP). The now decommissioned and rehabilitated site has passed all engineering design requirements and the third round of annual monitoring has been completed with the data sets indicating a trend towards meeting key criterias.
The Board would like to thanks Mr Virgin for his commitment to the company during his time and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
