The BOCHK Group launches iBond subscription offers and extends service hours of subscription hotlines

The BOCHK Group [comprising Bank of China (Hong Kong) ("BOCHK"), Nanyang Commercial Bank ("NCB") and Chiyu Banking Corporation ("Chiyu")] announced the offering of Inflation-Linked Retail Bond ("iBond") subscription service. Full fee waivers will be provided to help customers reduce bond subscription costs. In addition, the BOCHK Group will
extend the service hours of its subscription hotlines to facilitate subscription by customers.
From 9 am on 21 July to 2 pm on 29 July 2015 ("subscription period"), customers who
subscribe for iBond through the BOCHK Group can enjoy:

Waiver of 0.15% subscription fee

Waiver of custody fee

Waiver of interest collection fee

Waiver of transfer fee

Wavier of brokerage fee for sell transactions

No handling fee for secondary market transactions

No redemption fee at maturity

During the subscription period, subscription of iBond can be made at the designated service counters of the BOCHK Group's over 260 branches, or through the Internet Banking Services or Subscription Hotlines (BOCHK: www.bochk.com / (852) 3988 2688, Wealth Management: (852) 3988 2888, Enrich Banking: (852) 3988 2988; NCB: www.ncb.com.hk / (852) 2850 1228 and Chiyu: www.chiyubank.com / (852) 2232 3827). Service hours of the above subscription hotlines will also be extended during the subscription period, i.e. from 8 am to 8 pm from Mondays to Fridays, and from 8 am to 3 pm on Saturdays.
The iBond issued by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government has a tenor of
3 years. The principal amount of the iBond is HK$10,000 or an integral multiple thereof. The bond will be issued on 7 August 2015 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on
10 August 2015 with maturity on 7 August 2018. The interest of the bond will be paid once every six months and determined based on the higher of the fixed rate of 1% p.a. or the floating rate, being the arithmetic average of the year-on-year rates of change in the Composite Consumer Price Index for the six most recent preceding months. iBond subscription is limited to holders of valid HKID card only.
