Brewin Dolphin : Wealth manager Brewin Dolphin strengthens Cardiff team with promotions

Brewin Dolphin, one of the UK's leading independently-owned wealth managers, has strengthened the adviser partnership team at its Cardiff office with the promotion of experienced investment managers Andrew Williams and Martin Gierach to assistant directors. The adviser partnership team is a team dedicated to providing a comprehensive service to financial adviser firms and their clients.

Andrew Williams joined Brewin Dolphin over seven years ago, and has 10 years of financial services experience, including over two years of expertise gained at a national IFA (Independent Financial Adviser) firm. He is a chartered investment manager and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.

Martin Gierach is a chartered wealth manager and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments, who also has 10 years of financial services experience under his belt. He joined Brewin Dolphin seven years ago and oversees the specialist area of using structured products in alternative income and growth strategies.

The promotion of Williams and Gierach will consolidate further the Cardiff office's recent successes, including being named twice as 'best DFM (Discretionary Fund Manager) in Wales' at the Citywire Wealth Manager Regional Stars Awards 2016 and 2017. The 40 member strong office comprises of a dedicated team which services IFA (Independent Financial Adviser) clients, and is managed by experienced investment manager and divisional director for the adviser partnership team, Simon Chicken. The team comprises of 10 investment and portfolio managers, eight administrators and two business development managers.
