Wealth management firm announced as headline sponsor for The Brewin Dolphin Cambridge International Jazz Festival

Brewin Dolphin has stepped forward as the main sponsor for the Cambridge International Jazz Festival. The independently-run FTSE 250 wealth management firm is pledging to support the 4th Annual Festival which sees 12 days of music running from 11th - 26th November held at venues across Cambridge and featuring over 400 musicians.

The Cambridge Jazz Festival is a not-for-profit community interest company that aims to bring together jazz communities from the local area and universities, showcasing local talent and sources the best bands from around the country and internationally to perform in the city.

The Festival is a celebration of the huge variety of music that jazz encompasses, from gypsy jazz to funk, from jazz poetry and spoken word to hip-hop, from solo artists to big bands and it aspires to open jazz up to new audiences and to give them the chance to get involved as well as come and listen.

Heather Sonnet, Head of Brewin Dolphin Cambridge, said: 'It's a real honour to be able to support the Cambridge International Jazz Festival and sponsor such an inspiring and uniquely entertaining event. This is a city that punches way above its weight in terms of the quality and variety of its arts, and jazz is no exception. I am personally delighted to be able to play a small part in its inevitable success.'

Roslin Russell, Director & Co-founder of The Cambridge Jazz Festival said: 'We can't thank Brewin Dolphin enough for the backing they have shown the Festival - with their generous support and that of other sponsors including the Arts Council England and CambridgeBID, Cambridge can have the jazz festival it richly deserves'.
