SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 12, 2014) - Calix, Inc. (NYSE: CALX) today announced the company will host the first 2014 Quarterly Meeting for the Full Service Access Network (FSAN) organization, a group of more than 80 leading global telecommunications service providers, equipment manufacturers, and testing labs, with the mission to drive applicable standards and new technical specifications for Passive Optical Networks (PON) services and products. Calix, a two-time host of the event, will kick-off the meeting at the San Jose Convention Center on Mon., Feb. 17, and host participants throughout the remainder of the week.

"As a key contributor to the FSAN organization since 2001, Calix has collaborated closely with the group as they defined specifications for BPON, GPON, and now, the next generation PON technologies," said Hal Roberts, Calix Standards Bodies Lead and representative to FSAN. "We are honored to host the first meeting of 2014 in the Silicon Valley, the world-renowned cradle of innovation for technology and a fitting location for defining the future of advanced broadband networks.
