Now in its 14th year, the Cardinal Classic is regarded as one of the most successful fundraising initiatives in the region, attracting more than 500 business partners and community members annually and raising more than $5 million. The 2016 tournament is set for Monday, June 27, at the Country Club of Fairfax, Virginia.

The Cardinal Classic is unique among high-profile fundraisers, and I am deeply honored to work alongside Cardinal Bank and its tremendous team of volunteers to support Inova Kellar Center,” said Carosi. “The success of this annual event is due in large part to Cardinal’s strong dedication to outstanding community leadership, combined with the generosity of community members, business partners, customers and volunteers. Thank you for the opportunity to share in your special day.”

A longtime advocate for the well-being of children and families, Carosi has been associated with the Inova Health System for more than 20 years, culminating in his current leadership of the trustee board. He also has a successful 36-year career heading Arban & Carosi, one of the nation’s largest manufacturers of architectural precast concrete, and a recent honoree of the Washington Business Journal’s 2016 Family-Owned Business Awards. The company’s distinguished 90-year history includes work adorning the Library of Congress, U.S. Capitol and Jefferson Memorial, among many examples.

“Nick brings an extraordinary mix of leadership, experience and credentials to the Cardinal Classic,” said F. Kevin Reynolds, Tournament Chairman and Cardinal Bank’s President. “His longstanding commitment to excellence in our region’s healthcare systems and his passion for helping children and families make him a perfect fit. We are grateful for Nick’s willingness to serve as the honorary chair of our 2016 event.”
