Cegedim Logiciels Médicaux to supply four new health centers in the Greater Paris areaCrossway CDS certified solution wins another bid
Paris, December 1, 2016Cegedim Logiciels Médicaux (CLM), medical software publisher and service provider to healthcare professionals, has been chosen by Syndicat Intercommunal pour l'Informatique Municipale du Val-de-Marne (SIIM 94), the IT service provider for municipalities in the Val-de-Marne department, to manage four municipal health facilities in the department. These four facilities will join the 180 health centers in France already equipped with the Crossway CDS certified solution.
Providing therapeutic and preventative care at both general and specialized facilities, municipal health centers fill the need for convenient local healthcare providers. CLM will work with local teams to analyze their needs and set up the new system, assisting with configuration, training and maintenance.
Optimized medical and administrative managementAfter a call for bids, SIIM 94 chose CLM's Crossway CDS for the computerization of its Villejuif, Ivry-sur-Seine, Gentilly and Arcueil health centers. The contract covers installing medical records on 63 workstations, with hosting provided by Cegedim. The first roll-outs are planned for the end of this year.
Along with Vitry-sur-Seine, which is already using Crossway CDS, there will now be five health centers in Val-de-Marne running the software, which shows that it is well suited to the needs of healthcare professionals working in these kinds of facilities. The software has earned e-health certification for "clinics and medical centers" from ASIP Santé, meaning users are eligible for the latest remuneration methods.
It incorporates all of the functions needed to run a health center, including the management of patient records, electronic treatment forms, third-party payments, administrative records and scheduling.
