China Machinery Engineering : President Zhang Chun Inspects CMEC Yinchuan Company and Silk Road Park for International Cooperation

On March 21 and March 22, a nine-person delegation including CMEC President Zhang Chun, CMEC Vice President Zhang Jianguo and CMEC Vice President Zhang Wei went to Yinchuan for inspection and working visit on promoting the implementation of its strategic cooperation with the government of Ning Hui Autonomous Region.

On the morning of March 21, as soon as they arrived at the airport, they rushed to the meeting room of Yinchuan Comprehensive Bonded Zone and extensively exchanged views with the leaders of the bonded zone the construction of CMEC Silk Road Park for International Cooperation and the business development of the bonded zone and CMEC Yinchuan Company. During the meeting, CMEC Yinchuan Company General Manager Huang Yuequan made a report on the construction of the Silk RoadParkof Yinchuan Company, as well as the fur import business and the proposed Qingtongxia electrolytic copper purchase project of the bonded zone and CMEC. Ma Xuexia, Director of bonded zone, introduced systematically the current business development and future business development planning to the delegation. During the meeting, Zhang expressed his thanks to the bond zone for its support and assistance to the construction of CMEC's Silk Road Park for International Cooperation and the import & export business of CMEC Yinchuan Company; he said that CMEC will start the construction planning of the next stage of the project in the near future according to its current situation of business development. The leaders of both CMEC and the bonded zone recognized the current project development mode for giving full play to their respective advantages at the meeting, and the two sides pledged to work actively with each other to promote in-depth cooperation in the future.

On the afternoon of March 21, Xian Hui, Chairwoman of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, met with the delegation. Xian, first of all, thanked CMEC for its choice of Ningxia for local cooperation, construction of the Silk Road Park for International Cooperation and exhibition at the bonded zone, and promised that the government of the autonomous region and relevant departments will continue to give support to CMEC. Zhang thanked the chairman for her finding time to meet with him, and the supports given by the bonded zone and the Expo Bureau in the implementation process of the projects of CMEC. Zhang pointed out that CMEC's operation in Ningxia is an important support point of its domestic strategic deployment, and said that CMEC will actively promote the cooperation in follow-up projects when the conditions are mature.

On March 22, Zhang met at Yinchuan with Party Secretary of Yinchuan Xu Guangguo and Mayor of Yinchuan Bai Shangcheng, respectively, and extensively exchanged views on the cooperation between the two sides. After the meeting, the delegation, accompanied by the mayor, went to the project site of the Silk Road Park for International Cooperation and planted an evergreen tree together with the mayor. Zhang, during the onsite survey, listened to the reports on the construction progress and construction safety assurance of the project. After listening to the report, Zhang noted that the construction of the Silk Road Park for International Cooperation is an important goal of the strategic cooperation between CMEC and Ningxia and the head office of CMEC will give full support to the construction of the project. He extended his regards and thanks to all the units involved at the site for their hard work, and kindly encouraged everyone to work together to build the park into an excellent project guided by CMEC's conviction of 'Create Ideas, Achieve Dreams'. Afterwards, Zhang and the mayor visited CMEC's bonded fur warehouse at the bonded zone and looked over the second batch of imported fur goods undertaken by CMEC Yinchuan Company and showed strong interest in the goods. The leader of the bonded zone gave a detailed introduction to Zhang and the mayor on the work plan of CMEC and the bonded zone on jointly building the 'International Fur (Yinchuan) Trading & Distribution Center'.

The delegation recognized the project construction and business development of the company, put forward detailed work requirements on the company and hoped that it can blaze a new trail for trade development with local characteristics.
