China Oilfield Services L imited ("COSL" or the "Company") has recently received letters of endorsement from Petróleos Mexicanos ("PEMEX" ）in recognition for its module rigs COSL1 and COSL7. PEMEX commended COSL in the letter for its quality and efficient services and excellent coordination capabilities in the operation .

The drilling work COSL 1 undertaken applying under-balancedrilling technology was difficult. During the course of operation, COSL's work team at COSL1 strictly adhered to the operational procedures, communicated with supervisors from PEMEX effectively and thereby resolved problems in a timely manner and reduced operational risks. COSL also finished installing two new small platforms at the two ends of the main deck of COSL7 in a short period of time as requested by PEMEX. This has effectively increased the area of the deck and the volume of the bulk tank and thus cut the operating costs substantially for the client.

COSL team has been enhancing the inspection and maintenance of the equipment during the breaks between operations to ensure smooth operation. The team has also strengthened the safety management throughout the work process. The COSL staff's expertise, professionalism and strong sense of responsibility have been recognized by the client. The Company will continue to strengthen the safety management, improve the staff's proficiency, reduce cost and raise efficiency to provide clients with safer, better and more efficient services. Gulf of Mexico has been one of COSL's important overseas markets. The Company's market share in the area has been expanding consistently.
