China Oilfield Services Limited ('COSL' or the 'Company') has recentlyreceived a letter of endorsement from the Zhanjiang Maritime Search and Rescue Sub-center commending the effort of HYSY 676 of the Company in the rescue coordinated by the center.

On 14 September, HYSY 676 promptly responded to the instruction of Zhanjiang Maritime Search and Rescue Sub-center. It overcame the dual impact of typhoon No. 19 (tropical storm Vamco) and the southward-moving cold front, and endured waves of 2-3 meters and wind of gale force 8 to successfully rescue 18 crew members of SANHANGBENTENGZHUANG1 who were unable to evacuate due to the bad weather in the Zhanjiang waters. All rescued crew members are now in good condition.

In the rescue, HYSY 676 contributed to the reputation of the Company with its outstanding ship operation, excellent expertise and a well-coordinated team. The Company will continue to shoulder its corporate social responsibility and actively participate in maritime rescues.
