  • 　　As reported recently, China Construction Fifth Engineering Division Corp. Ltd (CSCEC 5th Bureau) has developed the construction technology 'A Type of Shape Steel Girder Installation Method Applied in Steel Structure Works', which has been granted national patent licensing for inventions.

    　　The installation method includes production and installation of rotating hinge, and shape steel girder hoisted in place, with which, the number of usage of tower cranes can be significantly reduced and labor time at heights be cut. With the application of the new method, productivity is likely to be improved and risk of installation at heights lowered.(from CSCEC 5th Bureau)
