  •   Hanking Financial Center, the world highest steel structure with an external core tube, was capped on November 30.
    Undertaken by China Construction Fourth Engineering Pision Corp., Ltd. (CSCEC 4th Bureau), the 350m-high structure is located in the Hi-tech Park in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, and covers a land area of over 11,000 square meters and a total floor area of about 160,000 square meters. The Project consists of a five-floor basement, 61 underground floors and a four-floor commercial podium, will be used as high-end commercial and business buildings.
    About 50,000 tons of steel structures have been used in the construction of the Project, twice that used in Xinxing Plaza in Shenzhen. Besides, the steel structure in this Project is the most complicated ever in the world, as it has 347 butterfly nodes. Thanks to efficient organization and strict management, CSCEC 4th Bureau made a new record speed by installing one layer of steel structure in only 1.6 days. (CSCEC 4th Bureau)
