Cisco : My Favorite Superpower

I was at a movie theater recently, seated comfortably and waiting to see the latest chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, when I overheard a friendly debate among three young men in the row ahead of me.

'If you could have one superpower, what would you want?' It's impolite to eavesdrop, but I had that conversation too many times as a kid - and, yes, as an adult - to avoid listening.

Invisibility was the first suggestion. 'I could spy on people and leave class whenever I wanted.' Not a reason I would want a child of mine to give, but ok.

'Flight,' another said. Why? 'I could go anywhere.' You can't argue with that logic.

'Super strength,' said the third fellow. He illustrated his point by raising his arms and letting out a mock growl. 'Who wouldn't want super strength?'

Solid choices, although for anyone looking to maximize a super-power-granting wish, there's really only one option: super speed. That's because super speed gives you many powers all in one.
