In recent years, the growth of mobility and cloud services together with a proliferation of consumer devices has contributed to significant business opportunities for media and service providers. This has affected both the way video content is created and the way it is delivered to audiences for consumption. These transformations have given providers the ability to introduce new experiences to consumers, innovate rapidly, generate new revenue, and increase efficiencies. Simultaneously, media and service providers find themselves exposed to a new set of security vulnerabilities. In order to support the shifts happening for media and service providers, a corresponding shift is needed in video security.
