Citation Resources Limited (subject to Deed of Company Arrangement) (the 'Company') (ASX: CTR) advises that it has received approval from the Australian Securities and Investment Commission ('ASIC') to extend the time within which it must hold its 2017 Annual General Meeting ('AGM').

ASIC has granted the extension for holding the AGM from 30 November 2017 to 31 March 2018 pursuant to section 250P of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). The extension was sought since, in light of the fact that the Company is subject to a deed of company arrangement and a recapitalisation is in progress, holding the AGM prior to 30 November 2017 would be burdensome to the Company and there would not be any resolutions put forward that would impact the Company's future operations. The extension allows the Company to focus on completing the terms of the Deed of Company Arrangement to preserve and enhance the value of the Company for its members.
