CityFibre Infrastructure : Construction recruiter lifts bandwidth constraints with gigabit speed connectivity

Challenge

As part of ARV Solutions expansion to 25 employees, the firm moved from their 800 sq. ft. operating center, to a new 3000 sq. ft. office at the Aztec West business park. After moving in, they discovered the current internet provider could only offer a 6-8Mbps connection which was not nearly enough for them to run their business of 90 clients on. In an industry where responsiveness to clients and candidates is imperative, the slow connection was straining browser speeds and communication channels, impeding ARV's ability to be reactive and competitive. They explored leased line alternatives to find a solution, but all quotes from incumbents came back with unrealistically, high monthly rates.

Solution

ARV Solutions soon discovered Triangle Networks and CityFibre's full-fibre network in Bristol. The contract for a low cost, 500Mbps connection was signed and the connection was installed and live within a couple of weeks of the move.

The ultrafast speed - up to 100 times faster than the UK average - and lack of bandwidth restriction has been a revelation for the firm and enabled them to implement new processes and technologies.
