JACKSON, Mich., Feb. 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- With a focus on world-class performance and workforce development, CMS Energy today announced two new senior vice presidents for the company.

The moves are the result of the upcoming April 1 retirement of John Butler, CMS Energy's senior vice president of human resources and shared services since 2006.


    --  Cathy Hendrian, vice president of human resources, will be named senior
        vice president of human resources. Hendrian was named vice president in
        2015 and has responsibility for the human resources function, including
        employee benefits, compensation, organization and workforce development,
        diversity, equal employment opportunity, workforce relations, labor
        relations and all human resources services for more than 7,300 CMS
        Energy and Consumers Energy employees. Hendrian joined Consumers Energy
        in 2002 and served in various strategy and workforce development
        leadership roles prior to 2015.
    --  Jean-Francois (JF) Brossoit, vice president of transformation and shared
        services, will be named senior vice president of transformation and
        shared services. He is responsible for the Company's lean management
        office, as well as supply chain, corporate safety and health, fleet,
        facilities, emergency management, real estate and general services.
        Brossoit joined the Company in late 2016. He previously served as vice
        president, manufacturing operation at United Technologies - Climate,
        Control and Security (UTC) in Jupiter, Fla. Prior to joining UTC in
        2006, he served in several management roles at General Motors Corp.
