Dan Gillan, Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Dan Gillan oversees all residential growth opportunities and initiatives for Comcast’s multiple product offerings, including video, high-speed Internet, digital phone, and home security / home management services. With over 15 years in the telecommunications industry, Gillan comes to the Twin Cities from Comcast’s California Region where he most recently served as Director of Retail Sales. In this role, Gillan was directly responsible for more than 500 employees at 44 different locations across the state, in addition to 400 indirect dealer and retail locations. Dan has also held senior leadership positions with other major telecommunications providers, including Cricket, Open Range and AT&T. Gillan holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Kaplan University.

Rachel Williams, Vice President, Engineering

As Vice President of Engineering, Rachel Williams is directly responsible for all facets of the Twin Cities Region’s Engineering, Network Maintenance and Construction groups. Williams’ background and experience makes her highly qualified to oversee one of the most sophisticated communications networks in the world. For the last five years, Williams has held leadership positions in the aerospace and defense industry with General Dynamics, most recently as Director for Strategic Initiatives and Services within the company’s Information Technology group. Previously, Williams led a team of more than 440 management and frontline technology professionals as Director of Operations for Verizon in Virginia. Williams holds a doctorate in organization and management with a specialization in leadership from Capella University, and a Master of Business Administration and bachelor’s degree in political science and philosophy from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.

Meredith Moore Crosby, Director, Community Investment

Meredith Moore Crosby joins Comcast as Director of Community Investment. In her role, she will be responsible for strengthening and building on the company’s three strategic areas of local impact: digital literacy, community service and building tomorrow’s leaders. Moore Crosby most recently served with 3M Corporation as Director of Strategic Initiatives for 3Mgives, where her accomplishments included a sevenfold increase in expanding the reach of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) projects in high-need communities. Moore Crosby also previously worked for McDonald’s Corporation as Director of Global Community Engagement. Moore Crosby has been featured in a variety of publications including Diversity Woman magazine, and recognized as one of the top 30 young leaders by Ebony magazine. She has also been recognized by the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal as a recipient of the publication’s annual “40 Under 40 Awards.” Moore Crosby holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Howard University and a Master of Science degree from Northwestern University.
