COMET Group growth strategy produces record results

The COMET Group is on track for success with its growth strategy 2020. The investment of the previous years in expanding customer relationships, in innovation and in market development paid off. In 2016 the Group accelerated its growth from the pace of recent years. It achieved the best results since the founding of the company, while growing in all core regions.

Consolidated net sales rose 18% to CHF 332.4 million (2015: CHF 282.3 million). The EBITDA margin improved to 14.3% (2015: 12.7%). Both numbers thus surpassed the guidance. Group net income reached a record-high of CHF 27.3 million (2015: CHF 17.1 million).

The audited annual report 2016 with the detailed consolidated results of the COMET Group will be published to coincide with the analyst and media conference on March 15, 2017 in Zurich (location: SIX Swiss Exchange, Convention Point, Selnaustrasse 30).
