At the Annual General Meeting for the 2015 business year, Constantin Medien AG shareholders last night approved the proposal by the Management Board and Supervisory Board for a strategic realignment for the media group. The AGM, held over two days in Munich, decided with the required majorities of the voting capital to concentrate on the Sports as well as the Sports- and Event-Marketing segments. In this context the intention is the separation from the Film Segment, a significant streamlining of the Group structures, and the improvement of the financing structure of Constantin Medien AG.

Also at the meeting, Mrs Andrea Laub and Mr Stefan Collorio were approved as Members of the Supervisory Board and Mr Jörn Arne Rees was newly elected to the Board.

With approximately 47 percent presence at the time of voting, all management proposals except for two were accepted with the required majorities. Shareholders who had registered share ownership of almost 30 percent of the share capital and form a voting rights pool were excluded from these votes by the Chairman of the AGM due to an incorrect voting rights notification.

'Positioning ourselves as a sports-only company is in our estimation the best and most promising strategy for the Constantin Medien Group in the long-termˮ, commented Fred Kogel, CEO of Constantin Medien AG. 'It will give us the opportunity to increase the Group's return on sales and profitability permanently and sustainably.ˮ
