COSCO Shipping Development : Passes SMS Annual Audit Successfully

　　During November 29-30, 2017, COSCO Shipping Development Co., Ltd. successfully passed SMS (Safety Management System) annual audit and will obtain the annual endorsement of DOC (Document of Compliance). The audit was completed by the expert team sent by Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration based on the application submitted by the Company.

　　According to the schedule, on the morning of November 29, the audit team firstly audited the Company's SMS documents; on the afternoon of the same day, the audit team invited the Company's leaders and personnel concerned to hold the first meeting. Xie Qunwei, Deputy Director of Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. After the meeting, the audit team audited the Company's shore-based activities.

　　On the afternoon of November 30, the audit team completed the audit and held the final meeting attended by the leaders and personnel concerned of the Company. In the meeting, the audit team reported the problems and noncompliance found in the audit process. Liu Chong, General Manager and Xu Hui, Secretary of Party Committee, accepted the opinions of the audit team and thanked the auditors for their hard work.
