CRH : Transaction in Own Shares

RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 27thAugust 2015, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 17,337 Ordinary Shares at a price of €13.64 per Ordinary Share and at prices between £11.19 and £14.94 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 1,417,932 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 822,204,552.
