CYS Investments, Inc. (NYSE: CYS) (the "Company") announced that it closed a public offering of 46,000,000 shares of its common stock, including 6,000,000 shares pursuant to an option that was fully exercised by the underwriters, at a public offering price of $13.70 per share, for total net proceeds of approximately $622,180,000, after deduction of underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated expenses.

The Company intends to invest the net proceeds of the offering in Agency RMBS and for general corporate purposes.

Barclays Capital Inc., BofA Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., and UBS Securities LLC are the joint bookrunners for the offering.
