Tel Aviv, Sunday, March 15, 2015. Delek Group's gas subsidiaries announced that the Petroleum Commissioner of Energy and Water Resources ("the Commissioner") announced its decision to the partners of the Hannah/351 license extending the validity of the licenses until June 14, 2015, in order to complete the examination of the data on the existence of a discovery, in accordance to the Petroleum Law - 1952, in the Hannah license area.
In addition, with regard to the appeal submission to the Minister of National Infrastructures, Energy and Water recourses (the "appeal" and "Energy Minister", respectively), on the decision of the Petroleum Commissioner of Energy and Water Resources ("the Commissioner") and further to the Energy Minister's decision not to extend the validity of the Avia/337 and Keren/338 licenses, and following on from the Energy Minister to reject the appeal, Delek Group gas subsidiaries announced that on March 12, 2015, Avia and Keren partners, the Delek Group gas partnerships, filed a petition to the High Court. The petition mainly includes the application for a conditional order against the respondent, instructing them to explain the reasoning behind not canceling the Energy Minister's decision which rejected the appeal and not extended the validity of these licenses.
