American Banker has named Fiona Bassett, Head of Deutsche Asset Management's Passive business in the Americas, to its list of '25 Most Powerful Women in Finance. '

American Banker, a leading news resource in the industry, reaches 560,000 financial services professionals. The annual rankings recognize the top 75 women in the US financial industry, assessing each candidate by their impact on her company, industry and community, as well as the level of innovation and leadership she brings to her role. Deutsche Bank nominated Bassett to show support for the many contributions she makes to the bank and its successes.

This is the third consecutive year Bassett has been selected as one of the '25 Most Powerful Women in Finance' by American Banker. She has been able to accomplish a significant amount in the brief time she's been in New York. Under Bassett's leadership, by the end of 2016, the US Passive strategy business had grown to 19 billion dollars in assets under management, up from 1 billion dollars at the start of 2014. Her business continues to grow through strategic hires and product launches to provide a full service offering to our clients, leveraging the intellectual capital of the bank's entire franchise to further enhance the client experience.
