DKSH opens new distribution center in Siem Reap to cater for growth in Cambodia

DKSH, the leading Market Expansion Services provider with a focus on Asia, commits to further developing its business in Cambodia by opening a new distribution center in Siem Reap. The modern facility plays a vital role in serving the country's northwest area with high-quality consumer goods products.

Phnom Penh, Cambodia, August 16, 2017- DKSH Business Unit Consumer Goods, a leading partner for fast moving consumer goods companies seeking to grow their business in Asia, has strengthened its presence in Cambodia by expanding its infrastructure through the opening of a 1,000 square meter (10,760 square foot) distribution center in Siem Reap.

This new facility will be used as the northwest hub to strengthen DKSH's unique capillary distribution network in Cambodia. The larger and more advanced distribution center replaces an older facility which was operating at full capacity. It represents a significant capacity upgrade in DKSH's consumer goods infrastructure in Cambodia. The distribution center is managed by a state-of-the-art warehouse management system and is connected to DKSH's global SAP platform. In line with DKSH's dedication to quality assurance and compliance, the facility is temperature controlled and adheres to strict ISO 9001:2015 international standards.

Kwanchai Assanee, Vice President, Business Unit Consumer Goods, DKSH Cambodia and Laos, said: "With a fast-growing middle class demanding high-quality products, Cambodia is one of the region's growth markets. DKSH is at the forefront of this growth helping clients from across the world enter and expand their business in the market through a range of marketing, sales, distribution and logistics services. We build on more than 60 years of experience in Cambodia and a strong regional network."

The new distribution center in Siem Reap marks another upgrade to cater for future clients' demand. In 2015, DKSH had opened a 4,400 square meter (47,360 square foot) state-of-the-art distribution center in Cambodia's capital Phnom Penh.
