Through the efficient asset allocation model the return on average Shareholders' equity is 16.1% as at December 2015 one of the best in the industry. The Bank has achieved a very high return on average assets of 1.73% as at December 2015, which is a clear demonstration of the effective utilization of shareholder's funds,' said Dr. R. Seetharaman, Group CEO of Doha Bank. 'The Banker Middle East Industry Awards has taken into consideration innovation, customer service and sustainable financial performance of nominated institutions. The award is a reflection of Doha Bank's leadership on sustainable growth.'

The award is the latest in a string of prestigious regional and international accolades received by Doha Bank over the past year. The Bank also won the 'Product of the Year in Middle East 2016 for Doha Bank's Mobile Banking Experience' from 'The Asian Banker' in recognition of the superior service offered through the mobile banking application. Also, on account of displaying best practice and transparency in investor relations, Doha Bank was awarded as the best Qatari company for 'Excellence in Investor Relations' under the mid-cap category.
