HOUSTON-April 7 , 2014-Dresser-Rand, a global supplier of rotating equipment solutions to the oil, gas, petrochemical, power, and process industries, was selected as a winner of the 2013 Gulf Coast Oil & Gas Award for its Health, Safety and Environmental programs and initiatives.

The Gulf Coast Oil & Gas Awards celebrate the positive contributions made by upstream and midstream sector companies of the oil and gas industry that demonstrate advances made in the key areas of environmental stewardship, efficiency, innovation, corporate social responsibility, and health and safety.

The judges of the 2013 Oil & Gas Awards reviewed more than 400 entries and selected 75 finalists. Dresser-Rand was one of four finalists in the health and safety category. Winners were announced at the Gulf Coast Oil & Gas Awards gala dinner at the Westin Galleria in Houston, Texas on March 18th.
