HOUSTON, August 4, 2014 - Dresser-Rand, a global supplier of environmentally friendly technology platforms in distributed power generation for the oil and gas, industrial, institutional, and commercial industries, will introduce its Guascor® marine engines to visitors attending the SMM Trade Fair in Hamburg, Germany.

Visitors of Dresser-Rand's stand, located in Hall A3.314, can learn about propulsion and auxiliary marine solutions for fishing vessels, tugboats, research vessels, tankers, barges, cargo, ferries, and dredges.

Dresser-Rand's booth will display the Guascor SF180TA-SP and SP360TA-SP model engines. With an output range from 412 to 1,103 kW (1,500 rpm), the SF engine series was specifically developed to operate in harsh conditions with minimum power consumption.

Throughout the years, Dresser-Rand has supplied fleets with propulsion and auxiliary equipment in compliance with the most demanding emissions standards.
