DSV A/S : Transaction closed

On 9 October 2015, we announced that we had entered into an agreement to acquire UTi Worldwide Inc. Today, we can finally announce that the agreement has been approved and closed. In future, once the integration of the two companies has been completed, the combined business will be operating under the DSV brand.

Creating one of the world's strongest transport and logistics networks

The transaction has significantly strengthened our global market position within our Air & Sea division, making us the world's sixth and seventh largest operator within ocean and air freight, respectively. It also adds a global scale to our contract logistics division, Solutions, and expands our road freight and distribution activities to cover Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. Last but not least, the new and improved DSV will offer strong specialist skills in industry verticals such as automotive, healthcare/pharmaceuticals, energy etc.

An interim period of business as usual

In order to ensure a quick and smooth integration, the integration process will be initiated immediately. In the meantime, DSV and UTi will continue to operate as two individual companies servicing our customers to the same high standard as usual.
