Loué/France - In early January, 2015, Dürr Ecoclean GmbH divested its France-based automation business handled by Dürr Automation S.A.S. The company was sold to Automation Holding GmbH, a subsidiary of the German Quantum Capital Partners AG of Munich. Going forward, Dürr Ecoclean will be focusing exclusively on its core fields of industrial cleaning and surface processing.

Michael Förster, managing director of Dürr Ecoclean GmbH, said: 'The automation segment is not one of our strategic activities, and in Quantum Capital Partners we have found a good partner for Dürr Automation. With their know-how and financial strength, Quantum can help develop the company and build a successful future for it.'

Dürr Ecoclean's core competences lie in the development, manufacture and sale of innovative solutions for industrial part cleaning and surface processing. The French activities in this field were combined in the Loué-based Dürr Cleaning France S.A.S., established in 2013. The cleaning systems produced by the Ecoclean Group are used worldwide in the automotive industry and its suppliers as well as in numerous other sectors such as metalworking, medical equipment, optics, semiconductors and electronic products.
