New 106,000-square-foot James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital Primary Care Annex will help expand healthcare to more than 87,000 veterans in four Florida counties.

(Tampa, Fla. And Indianapolis, Ind. - Aug. 20, 2014) More than 87,000 veterans in the Florida counties of Pasco, Polk, Hernando and Hillsborough now have a good reason to celebrate.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA) just opened the new 106,000-square-foot James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital Primary Care Annex in Tampa, greatly expanding healthcare services to the veterans in those four counties.

Indianapolis-based Duke Realty developed the two-story clinic located at 13515 Lake Terrace Lane in the Hidden River Corporate Park at Interstate 75 and Fletcher Avenue. The facility houses services formerly provided by the nearby James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital. In addition to primary care services, the clinic offers a comprehensive women's center, radiology, mental health services and dental services. The VA leases the facility from Duke Realty.

This is the second facility Duke Realty has developed for the VA. The firm developed a 213,029-square-foot satellite outpatient VA clinic in Fort Worth, Texas, which opened in fall 2010.
